    My hometown Tongyeong's sea is amazingly calm & tranquil just like a
    placid lake.Maybe that's why its 'Yunseul's (sparkling ripples) are so warm &beautiful...
    Those sparkling ripples reflected by bright morning light reveal constantly changing colors
    as if they were playing magical tricks of colors. They also reminded me of the beautiful
    glitter of mother-of-pearl work that I used to look at in my youth.I've tried to capture
    the delicate &mysterious colors of waves, placing 40 layers of different
    colors, peeling off the colors layer by layer, and eventually revealing various shades of
    glittering gems: the sparkling ripples, which are imprinted deep in my mind...I've always wanted to
    express the essence of my hometown waters - the very combination of splendid light &
    colors!!I am still dreaming of and looking for the unique beauty of those blending...
