" 칼 끝에 색을 입히다 - 김 재 신 ".
“ 가까이 오래 붙든 바다는 종종 그대로 그림이 된다. 나의 < 바다 > 작품은
대 부분 가까이 오래 머무르게 했던 바다의 형상이다 “
The longer I spend being close to the sea, the more my artwork
tends to embody the sea. Most of my exhibited work of are as such.
“ 비늘같이 켜켜이 쌓인 바다의 빛, 서로 갈 길이 다른 물들의 부딪힘, 굵은
파도의 등에서 드러나는 역동성을 칼질로 표현한다. 나름 잘 나왔다 생각될 땐
시원한 바다가 보고프다 “
I unveil the dynamic quality of the sea by scraping off the paints, which
are multilayered like fish scales. I try to express waves clashing into each
other and their thickness. When I do a decent job, I miss the sea again.
“매번 작업할 때마다 겹겹이 쌓은 색의 층만큼 다양하고 화려한 색의 조합이 생겨나는
조탁작업과 몇 겹의 물결이 모여 형태나 색이 끊임없이 바뀌는 바다의 궁합은 최고라는
생각을 한다 “
I find sea and zotak a fascinating combination. The sea constantly changes
itself through multilayered waves while the style of Zotak manifests
plural combinations of nuanced colors.
